Yuri Alberto, André, Vitor Roque and others: CIES nominates the most valuable under-23 players in the world; see list | soccer

The Football Observatory of the International Center for Sport Studies (CIES Football Observatory) has published a list of 100 Most Valuable Under-23 Players in the World. Yuri Alberto, from Corinthians, is the best ranked Brazilian. The survey does not take into account the top five leagues in the world – Germany, England, Italy, Spain and France.

The 22-year-old striker occupies the eighth position in the ranking and has an estimated value of 35 million euros (R$ 190 million at current prices). André, from Fluminense, Marcos Leonardo, from Santos, Vitor Roque, from Athletico, Andrey, from Vasco, and João Pedro, from Watford, appear among the 20 most precious (see the complete list below).

The other Brazilians mentioned are Rodrigo Nestor (São Paulo), Mauricio and Johnny (Inter), Adson (Corinthians), Martinelli (Fluminense), Natan, Luan Cândido and Helinho (Bragantino), Ângelo (Santos), Mantuan (Zenit), Victor Hugo and Matheus França (Flamengo), Igor Paixão (Feyenoord), Talles Magno (New York City) and Gabriel Menino (Palmeiras).

The Brazilian clubs with the most athletes in the survey are Bragantino (3), Inter, Corinthians, Fluminense, Santos and Flamengo (2), São Paulo, Palmeiras, Vasco and Athletico (1).

According to CIES, Gonçalo Ramos, from Benfica, is the most valuable under-23 player in the world, with an estimated value of 70 million euros (R$ 380 million at current prices). António Silva (Benfica), Gonçalo Inácio (Sporting), Jurriën Timber (Ajax) and Kenneth Taylor (Ajax) complete the top 5.
