The 39-year-old assumes that the last three teams in the table, including his former club FC Schalke 04, will score points in step – but never three times. In his view, the Royal Blues drew 1-1 in Freiburg, Hertha BSC played 2-2 at home against newly promoted Werder Bremen and VfB Stuttgart had to return to FC Augsburg with the same result. Nothing would change in the table situation in the Bundesliga basement.

In the home game against VfL Wolfsburg, however, it is enough to draw 1-1, believes the U18 coach who works for the DFB.
