Volunteer work at TV 66 Niederfischbach awarded with sports prize

At this year’s annual general meeting of TV 66 Niederfischbach in the clubhouse of the Niederfischbach tennis club, three board members from TV 66 received the VG-Kirchen-Sieg honorary sports award for their voluntary commitment.

Niederfischbach. The sports officer of the parish of Kirchen Klaus-Jrgen Griese expressed his thanks and appreciation for the special merits in promoting sports. Franz Neuhof has been with the club for 54 years. He headed the judo department for 46 years (until 2018), was chairman of the club from 1981 to 1987 and was Oberturnwart for 36 years and worked on the board for decades. Klaus-Peter Zller, has been with the association for 57 years, including 45 years on the board. has always led the club financially for over 45 years through his experience as chief cashier. Helga Flender has been a member of the association for 48 years. She was managing director from 1984 to 1987, then first chairwoman to this day, district senior gymnastics supervisor from 1988, training manager for mass sports, apparatus gymnastics and competitive gymnastics.

Helga Flender welcomed all participating association members and announced the agenda. The individual departments of the association with its 314 members were able to present their reports with great satisfaction. The first cashier, Klaus Peter Zller, completed the club’s entire package with financial satisfaction. The board of directors was elected as follows: First Chairwoman Helga Flender, First Managing Director Lena Zller, First Treasurer Klaus-Peter Zller and Oberturnwart Franz Neuhof. Furthermore, some members of the association were honored for 25, 40 and 50 years of membership and voluntary work. (PM)
