The 2023 edition of the Sports Festival is included in the calendar of events: it will take place on Saturday June 17 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Landaul stadium.
The town labeled “Terre de jeux 2024” in December 2020 is preparing events promoting sports practice in the town. “This idea was running through the heads of elected officials: to bring the municipality into the very closed circle of Cities linked to the events surrounding the Paris Olympic Games in 2024. This was done with seven other municipalities in Morbihan and two communities of municipalities. It’s recognition that rewards our efforts in favor of sport,” said the mayor, Dominique Ollivier Frankel.
A meeting with associations
“Friday April 14, we brought together all the representatives of sports practices to prepare the event, which is a first in Landaul, to decide together on the methods of organization and implementation of the activities and the progress of this after – noon”, declare Dominique Ollivier Frankel and the councilor David Guyot delegate for sports. The objective of the operation is to promote sport, enhance the courses and sports routes for children, but also for their parents. The program remains to be defined. Some ideas are already in mind, football, dance, archery, athletics, motor skills course…
