The CD. Medinense sweeps the Castilla y León U15 and U19 Badminton Championship in Palencia

Yaiza Cobos.- Last weekend, specifically on Saturday, April 22, a large group of athletes from Club Deportivo Medinense traveled to the Eras de Santa Marina Sports Center, in Palencia, to play the Castilla y León Badminton Championship in the Sub15 and Sub19 category. . The Villa de las Ferias players did not disappoint and were protagonists in both competitions.

In the Sub15 category, in the DF15 section, Carlota Lozano and Alexia Ramiro from Medina got on the podium in third position. On the other hand, in Sub19, Pablo Martín won the first male position after having defeated all his rivals in the matches played.

In the female category, Sheila Díez won the gold medal after easily beating her opponents. An award that also came along with the renewal of the mixed doubles champion title along with her partner Soria Alonso.

With this, the young athletes were proclaimed champions of Castilla y León; some new merits that are added to those already achieved previously by the Club Deportivo Medinense in badminton.
