The Czech, very efficient with his powerful serve, won in two sets (7-5, 6-4). The former world number 1 will line up for the Rome tournament which will begin on May 8 in Italy after having signed three victories on home soil in this Masters 1000, a first for him on the circuit since the summer of 2022.
