Sophia Thiel: “If I eat beyond my hunger, then I try to put a check behind it”

VFrom bodybuilder to influencer for mindfulness and mental health: Sophia Thiel’s career has undergone a major change in recent years. In spring 2019, Thiel retired from public life after developing an eating disorder. She then went into therapy and dealt with her fears there. She still presents herself as a strong brand on social networks: around 1.3 million people follow her on Instagram alone – about as many as before her break.
