Siheung-si, overall runner-up in the 6th Gyeonggi-do Western Region Civil Servant Badminton Competition: Gyeonggi Peace Newspaper

Siheung-si, Gyeonggi-do and 7 cities (Gwangmyeong, Gunpo, Gimpo, Bucheon, Siheung, Ansan, Anyang), promotes the vitality and friendship of civil servant badminton clubs, and the ‘6th Gyeonggi-do Western Region Official Badminton Competition’ was held on the 22nd at Jeongwang-dong Badminton Stadium It was announced that the event was held successfully.

About 200 players and their families participated in the badminton competition, which was hosted and supervised by the Siheung City Government Officials Badminton Club (Chairman Kim Jeong-ho) and sponsored by the Siheung City Badminton Association (Chairman Han Geon-seok). As a result of the heated competition, Gyeonggi-do won the overall championship and Siheung City took the overall runner-up.

This competition was held for the first time in about 4 years due to African swine fever and COVID-19, and public officials who were tired of their duties while silently carrying out their duties at local frontline sites such as COVID-19, wildfires, droughts, and elections communicated happily and promoted harmony and solidarity. A dazzling festival unfolded.
