Shock moment right after the second goal!
In the Bundesliga game between RB Leipzig and FC Augsburg (3: 2) there is a worrying scene in the tenth minute shortly after the equalizer.
What happened?
Augsburg loses the ball in the Leipzig half, Marco Rose’s team starts a direct counterattack on the right side.
Timo Werner crosses to the first post, where midfielder Kevin Kampl gets to the ball in front of Bauer and pushes him over the line. 1:1 – the immediate answer to the early Augsburg lead by Maier in the 5th minute.
Leipzig: scorer suddenly calls for help!
First big Leipzig cheers, but then the moment of shock. Slovenian Kampl, who scores his first Bundesliga goal in almost three years (most recently on June 17, 2020 against Fortuna Dusseldorf), appears to be struggling after the action. He first grabs his chest, bends his knees a little and then grabs his back. He repeats this, then immediately calls for help. Four teammates who actually want to cheer with him are worried about him.

After a short break in treatment, Kampl quickly gets better and can continue.
Leipzig – Augsburg: Early starters in the Bundesliga – RB provides a novelty
Both teams are known for their early starts in the Bundesliga. Already met for the 10th time this season Augsburg and Leipzig in the first quarter of an hour, only Bayern are more dangerous here.
In the last home game, Leipzig was beaten by Mainz after 9 minutes, today even after 5 minutes; in the last two home games there were the two earliest RB goals conceded of the season.
After falling behind, the reigning cup winners have yet to win a Bundesliga game this season – until today.
