Pradines Badminton on the podium – Le Petit Journal

On Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 April there was a big badminton activity at the Cabessut complex in Cahors. On Saturday, the Pradines Badminton club organized, in collaboration with the Ligue Occitanie and the Comité Du Lot, the “Paul Vayssière 2023” cup. This team competition sees the departments of the region compete in the youngest and minimal categories. After a defeat in the morning against Haute-Garonne, the day’s big winners, the Lot team won a fine silver medal in the afternoon by winning against Aveyron. The team was made up of Timéo Maruaé, Flavie Michel, Roméo Goulmot and Maëlia Bruneau as the youngest as well as Fantine Minard, Nathan Dussillol, Lison Dajean and Ilan Louis-Sertier as minors. On Sunday, place for adults for the regional play-off , final interclub day for the title of Occitanie. The Pradines club therefore received on these lands of the Lot, the teams of Montpellier, Juvignac (34) and Blagnac (31). After a fine 4/3 victory in the morning against Montpellier, the Pradines team is therefore qualified to play for the title against Blagnac. Nice meeting and the 2 finalists can’t decide after 8 games. Tie 4/4, and the number of sets will have to be counted… and, in this little game, Blagnac wins.
