Peru vs. Bolivia LIVE: goals by Moisés Paniagua and Braian Mamani for 2-1 in the South American Sub-17 | VIDEOS | Sports | FOOTBALL-PERUVIAN

Defensive concentration is a pending issue in the Peruvian team, not only in the major, but in all categories. This was evidenced once again in the tie between Bolivia in the match for date 1 of the South American U-17: just when the ‘Blanquirroja’ was with one less player due to Bassco Soyer’s injury, the highlands took advantage of their numerical superiority to decree equality through Moses Paniagua.

The Alianza Lima midfielder had to leave the pitch to be treated for physical discomfort. Peru’s coaching staff took a long time to make his substitution and the players also did not understand what they had to do, because instead of throwing the ball out of the field, they resumed their actions as if nothing had happened.

In total there were five minutes in which the ‘Bicolor’ was with one less player. Thus, Bolivia found a clearance in the rival field and Moisés Paniagua did not hesitate for a second as soon as he received the ball. He went at speed towards the Peruvian goal and defined with quality to sign the 1-1.

As if that were not enough, Paniagua was not only in charge of putting the tie, but also led the comeback. The Always Ready footballer –who has already made his debut in the highest category of Bolivian football– applied his speed on the left and, when the game was in the discounts, he assisted Braian Mamani to decree the final 2-1.
