The first analyzes of the investigation show that OHL player Sofian Kiyine drove 150 kilometers per hour and had 1.6 promille alcohol in his blood when he drove into a sports hall in Flémalle in Liège at the end of March. That writes SudInfo.

The accident happened on Thursday, March 30, around 6:30 p.m. on the banks of the Meuse, near Flémalle. The black Mercedes hit a roundabout at high speed and was catapulted into the air. Then the car flew into a sports hall. Miraculously, no one in the gym was injured. Kiyine herself survived the crash, but suffered multiple fractures.

Due to his condition, Kiyine could not be questioned immediately after the facts. On Thursday he was able to present himself to the police for the first time. He also drove way too fast. The speed limit on the track in question is 90 kilometers per hour. The first elements of the investigation indicate a speed between 140 and 150 km/h.
