Novak Djokovic rewards a child’s good deed during a Euroleague match

Novak Djokovic took a 100 euro bill out of his pocket and gave it to a boy during a EuroLeague game. On Wednesday, Djokovic was at the Stark Arena in Belgrade, watching the match between Crvena Zvezda and Valencia.

During the break, Djokovic was accosted by children and fans and took a selfie with all of them. But when a group of children approached Djokovic, the Serb told them “well done” and put a 100-euro bill in a boy’s pocket.

According to the Serbian newspaper Kurir, that group of children found Djokovic’s payment card near the stadium and asked security personnel if they could reach the Serbian tennis star and return his card.

Djokovic has gone to Monte Carlo

Last weekend, Djokovic began his preparation for the clay court season in Belgrade. On Thursday, Djokovic had a training session with Filip Krajinovic.

After concluding his training, Djokovic moved to Monte Carlo. Viktor Troicki, who has also sparred with Djokovic in recent days, told Sport Klub that Djokovic is ready for Monte Carlo and determined to get a good result.

“Nole is ready for Monte Carlo. He will try to get the trophy there. His preparation has gone very well. He is looking forward to playing tournaments. I think he can go far (in Monte Carlo),” Troicki told Sport Klub.

Last year, Djokovic lost in the second round of Monte Carlo against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. But Troicki believes this year will be different. “I think it’s different compared to last year.

This time he has practiced more because then he knew that he would not be able to go to the United States. Now he is more prepared because he has played more. He has competition pace. He won in Adelaide and Melbourne, the situations are different, he is more prepared and he will start the clay court season better than last year,” Troicki explained.

Novak Djokovic is one of the main candidates for the second Grand Slam of the season, Roland Garros, where the Serbian will try to lift the third crown and the 23rd Grand Slam of his career. The Balkan is number two in the world, but he can return to the top if Alcaraz doesn’t win Miami.
