Manchester City are looking to expand their Etihad Stadium by more than 7,000 to accommodate over 60,000 spectators. England’s football champions announced plans to do so on Tuesday.
In addition to the stadium, a hotel with 400 beds, a covered fan zone and a new museum are to be built, among other things. More than 300 million pounds (around 340 million euros) are to be invested in the project.
