Madagascar champion Laura Rasoanavo’s father Luc won the trophy

When the 2023 judo championships were held last weekend, this slightly different family made it to the podium twice. While it was expected that Laura would not let go of the title of champion in the under 70 kilos that made her number one in the world, Luc did not let go of her father until he won the first place in the senior under- 81 kilos while his friend Manitra Razafimanantsoa (HSK) won. Mamy Dongoza Rasolondraibe (HAK) won the competition in the under 60 kilos senior category.
