The third and fourth positions were occupied by these units in the regular tournament. In the elimination matches, both managed to overcome the first round, however, the bar of the semi-finals turned out to be too high. “FS Masters/Ulbroka” defeated Talseniks in the quarter-final series (4:2), but in the fight for a place in the final, “Lielvārde/FatPipe” recognized the superiority (1:4). The path of “Ķekava/RB&B” was similar – in the first round they defeated “Rubene”, who played in the finals of the previous two seasons (4:1), but in the semi-finals they unconditionally capitulated against the strongest team of the regular season, FBK “Valmiera” (0:4).

In the regular tournament, the team’s victories in mutual battles were split in half – in the first round game in Ķekava, the Ulbro people won 8:5, while the visiting “Ķekava/RB&B” took revenge (7:4).

The “Ķekava/RB&B” team has entered the top four of the men’s league for the first time in the club’s history, but for “FS Masters/Ulbrokai” this will be their fifth visit to “Arena Riga”.

ELVI floorball league men’s final FBK “Valmiera” – “Lielvārde/FatPipe” – at 20.00 in “Arena Rīga” and broadcast live on TV channel LTV7.

In the central match of the day, the winners of the regular tournament from Valmiera and the giants from Lielvārdi, who demonstrated excellent fighting spirit in the playoffs, will fight for the title of Latvian champions for men. The Valmiera team experienced only one loss in the regular season, however, at the end of the season, they had to be a little nervous about protecting the leading position. In the playoffs, FBK “Valmiera” showed a flawless performance – 4:0 in the quarter-final series against “Irlava” and the same final result in the semi-final duel against Kekavians. “Lielvārde/FatPipe” played the first stage of the season poorly and ranked only seventh in the regular tournament. However, when the play-off matches began, the team’s performance changed beyond recognition. First, in the intense quarter-final series, which required all seven games, they succeeded in dethroning Cēsis “Lekring” from the championship throne, but in the battle for the final, despite the loss in the first game, “FS Masters/Ulbrokai” (4:1 in the series) did not have much hope.

In the regular season, the teams played two games against each other and both were won by the home team. In the first round, Valmierians were superior with the result 6:4, but in the second, the giants defended their field, celebrating their success in overtime (6:5).
