Dominik Koepfer is in the final in Mexico City

Remarkable tournament by Dominik Koepfer in Mexico City: The German Davis Cup player had to qualify for the main draw of the ATP Tour Challenger tournament – and is now actually after a 6: 2 and 6: 4 against Maximilian Neuchrist in the final. But the Austrian can also be satisfied with his performances in the Mexican capital. After all, Neuchrist, who also had to qualify for the main draw, will be very close to the top 200 of the ATP charts again. And will probably get the chance to qualify for the French Open 2023.

Koepfer, on the other hand, still has a nice final match in front of his chest: the left-hander, who has recently been plagued by injuries, plays against Augustin Tirante from Argentina for the title. In the live ranking, Koepfer has already improved by 54 places and would be number 208 on Monday. A win would take him up to 175th place.
