Tommaso Conenna from Vigevanowith two meetings won first place in the Boys (11-14 years) category kg.73 and over, al 10th Ghiringhelli Judo Trophy that took place Sunday in Castronno (Varese)NeWaza competition, organized by the Friends of Judo and the local society and to which Judo Vigevano, coached by maestro Franco Guidi, participated with two athletes.
The second one, Simone Muser, with 3 matches, instead obtained the 6th position in the Youth category up to 73kg. The previous day the same couple of athletes, together with Stefano Muser, participated in the TurinCup 2023, judo competition of international importance, which they were present over a thousand athletes, many of which arrived from abroad. In the circumstance Simone Muser obtained an excellent 8th placebeing eliminated in the quarterfinals, in the category Under 36 up to 73 kg., one of those with the highest number of participants while Tommaso Conenna in the Cadet category +81 kg. he stopped at the preliminary rounds. The next appointment is scheduled for Sunday 16 April in Ispra (Varese) where the Vigevano team will take part in the 1st Lake Trophy.
