José Quijada added his third save of the season

Venezuelan pitcher José Quijada reached his third save of the season after the 5-2 victory of the Angelina Anaheim against the New York Yankees.

Quijada took the mound in the ninth inning and managed to dispatch two of his rivals by way of strikeout to keep his ERA at 0.00.

The offense was dominated by Japan’s Shohei Ohtani, who hit his fourth home run of the season to drive in Taylor Ward leading off the first inning.

In the top of the fourth Anthony Rendón hits a single to the right field that drives Mike Trout.

Immediately afterwards, Hunter Renfroe sends a powerful double to the left field so that Anthony Rendón scores the fourth run of the game.

New York Yankees reacted with a run scored by Creole Oswald Peraza after Anthony Volpe received a walk.

The engagement was defined in the top of the fifth thanks to a sacrifice fly by Anthony Rendón that drove in Ohtani.
