is 1-1 in the series – The Voice of New York

The Cleveland Cavaliers tied the series at 1-1 with the New York Knicks, at the end of a game 2 that was never really in discussion.

Mitchell and his companions, after the KO suffered in the opening match, this time they start immediately strong, moving forward right from the start. The Cavs place the decisive partial in the second period, in which they score 34 points, conceding only 17. After the long interval, despite Julius Randle’s 22 points and Jalen Brunson’s 20, New York never really manages to recover in the match, giving in to the greater lucidity of the opponents.

Cleveland easily surpasses the blue-orange, driven by a Donovan Mitchell author of a double-double of 17 points and 13 assists, one of which is crazy after taking flight, and by a superlative Darius Garland, who ends the match with 32 seasoned points from 7 winning passes. At the end of the 48 minutes of play, the Cavaliers prevail with the final result of 107-90.

Now, the series finally moves to New York, where a totally crazy fan base is waiting to support Brunson and company in an already sold out Garden. The Knicks, on the other hand, managed to wrest the home court factor from the Cavs. Now, however, they will have to try to defend their parquet if they really want to qualify for the second round. It won’t be easy at all: also due to such a short bench since the beginning of the year, the team has looked tired. We’ll see if the energy of the Garden in game 3 will be able to revitalize Tom Thibodeau’s men.

On NBA night, the Suns also tied the series at 1-1, beating the Clippers 123-109. Still all easy, however, for Boston, which beats Atlanta 119-106, taking on 2-0.
