Tibo InShape knows how to get people talking, and it’s been a key part of his success and longevity on YouTube. Currently immersed in a fairly serious controversy, over a supposed bad influence on his audience, he revealed the enormous sum received since his debut on the platform. Unsurprisingly, we are talking about millions.

On paper, the profession of youtuber is a bit like a dream job, it is no coincidence that more and more young people want to get into the industry. At the same time, who wouldn’t want to spend their days recording videos on subjects they are passionate about, for a mostly caring and committed audience. And then there is also the salary and the business opportunities that go with it.

But not everyone is necessarily comfortable enough with the notion of money to talk about it openly. This is obviously not the case for Tibo InShape, who has just revealed the amount received since the start of his digital career. In the midst of a controversy over a supposedly bad influence on the eating habits of his audiencehere is what should still make talk:

To give you some numbers, I have a total of 3.7 billion views on my YouTube channel, and I’ve made over 1,200 videos in 10 years. I know that in France we have a big problem with money, but I work and I have nothing to hide. Above all, I didn’t steal anything. What I did with YouTube, anyone can do it, you just need a phone to film yourself.

I don’t want to taunt anyone, just show that with hard work, time, passion and a bit of luck, something cool can be achieved. I also specify that the money does not go into my pocket, but into the accounts of the company, with which I pay taxes in France. I received… 2.958 million euros.

In more than 10 years and 1,200 videos published, Tibo InShape has pocketed nearly 3 million euros thanks to YouTube! A rather impressive sum which does not go directly into his pocket, however, but rather into the accounts of his company, and which therefore makes it possible to remunerate his teams. The other good news is that he pays his taxes in France and therefore actively participates in the solidarity effort.

On the other hand, what he does not specify is the amount received for all his side projects related to sport. He has many partners, promotes certain products, and he probably does not do it voluntarily. Does this extra salary go to his company’s account too, or to his own, as a reward for the enormous work done? It has at least the merit of being transparent on part of the subject.

If 3 million euros is obviously an impressive sum, we could have expected more for a channel with more than 7 million subscribers. He is obviously not to be pitied, and he must be able to live comfortably.
