I will slaughter your family! The author of the threats to the Vsetín goalkeeper confessed to the police

The whole incident happened on April 1, during the opening match of the series between Vsetín and Zlín, when Vošvrda received a message on his Instagram in a private message that he would be beaten when he arrived in Zlín. This was followed by a threat to kill the family accompanied by profanity. “You signed a death warrant,” writes a user under the name Tomáš Boudný to the goalkeeper.

The Vsetín goalkeeper reported the whole matter and the police began to investigate the case in cooperation with the club. “We are sorry that things that have nothing to do with hockey got mixed up in the sports rivalry. As for the threats to Tomáš Vošvrd on the social network, the club is proceeding in cooperation with the Police of the Czech Republic,” said the executive manager of the Vsetín club, Filip Bazala.

After the fourth game of the series, the author of the threatening message turned himself in to the police. As the police stated on their website, the 24-year-old man, who is suspected of committing the crime of making dangerous threats, regrets his act. If found guilty, the young man faces up to three years in prison.

Zlín leads the series over Vsetín 3:1 after four matches and is only one win away from participating in the play-off for the extra league. Kladno awaits the winner of the Chance League.
