Zaragoza has hosted a new PoolTour tournament, with 400 billiard players in the American pool modality and there was participation from Soria, with good performance.
Four players from the Club Amistad Numancia Billiards were present: Javier del Santo in First Category and Rodrigo Brezzo, David Rodríguez and Iñaki Pardo in Second. Experience that served to continue growing.
Javier del Santo (the only Soria participant in the master category) beat Manuel Montejo in his first game by a resounding 7-2. In the next match, the player from Soriano fell 7-3 against Jorge Díaz Alzamora.
In the second category, Iñaki Pardo was framed in group 1. Pardo, who passed the first phase without needing to face anyone, beat Jonathan Fernández 6-2 but lost 6-1 to Jordi Blanchard.
In group 4 David Rodríguez beat Víctor Combarro 6-1. In the next game, the billiard player from Soria beat Juan Gabarre 6-0 and in the last game he played he stood up against Aarón Javier by losing 6-5.
The good news was left by Rodrigo Brezzo.
The billiard player from Club Amistad Numancia de Billiards was among the 64 best in PoolTour, it should be noted that the participation in this event was more than 400 players from all over Spain and even from abroad. Brezzo won his first meeting 6-4 with Miguel Coya. He endorsed Saioa Lasa 1-6 and Félix Arasanz 6-4.
The next championship where there will be participation of billiard players from Soria in the “American” modality will be on May 14 in Burgos at the AJAPOOL Circuit when their fifth test will be held.
