FC Bayern is on the verge of being eliminated from the Champions League after the 3-0 first leg defeat by Manchester City, but is still hoping for a small football miracle before the second duel with the English champions on Wednesday evening (9 p.m.). As stated in a recent media report, midfield star Leon Goretzka could lose his place next to Joshua Kimmich for the second leg in the quarter-finals of the premier class. According to “tz” information, those responsible at FC Bayern have recently been anything but satisfied with the performance of the 28-year-old.
In the last Bundesliga game against TSG Hoffenheim (1-1), Goretzka disappointed as a midfield organizer and was repeatedly rebuked by Coach Tuchel on the pitch.

Goretzka was recently accused of acting too inconspicuously and no longer taking control of the game. Against Hoffenheim, the box-to-box player had only 46 ball actions in 60 minutes – a comparatively disastrous number.
The German international is currently in 34 games this season for Bayern, in which he scored six goals.
