Persija Jakarta shifted Persib Bandung from second place in the 2022 Liga 1 standings. This was after the Kemayoran Tigers won 1-0 over Dewa United.

In the match that was held at the Indomilk Arena, Monday (10/4/2023) evening WIB, Persija tried to maximize Persib’s 0-4 defeat to Persita Tangerang.

They lowered their best team to suppress Dewa United’s defense. The trio of Michael Kmencik, Witan Sulaeman and Dony Try Pamungkas were installed at the front.

Persija got several opportunities but found it difficult to penetrate Dewa United’s goal guarded by Muhammad Natsir.

The 0-0 score lasted until halftime. Entering the second half, Persija increased the intensity of their attacks in search of goals.

But, again they are still difficult to score goals. Persija put pressure on Dewa United in the final 15 minutes of the second half.
