Casaluce, the Pro Loco organizes archery courses

Casaluce (Caserta) – The Pro Loco of Casaluce “Casaluci” Aps organizes archery courses at its headquarters, a sport for everyone, adults, teens and children aged ten and up, in collaboration with the Group Historic Archers of the Norman Castle of Casaluce. – continues below –

The instructor Antonio Martino makes available his work and his archery experience to teach anyone who wants the basics of historical archery in ten initial lessons, after which those who find this sport interesting can continue and continue even at competitive level, participating in various competitions and events.

The regulation is structured as follows:

• 1) A test lesson is foreseen without any obligation on the part of the participant, to give the possibility of testing the aptitude for sports-recreational activity.
• 2) The basic course consists of 10 free meetings (including the test lesson).
• 3) Gloves and arm guards must be personal.
• 4) For those who do not have personal equipment, during the course it will be made available by the instructor (bow and arrows).
• 5) At the end of the course, to continue and perfect your shooting skills during the weekly training sessions, you will need to have your own equipment (bow and arrows).
• 6) After the 10 free lessons, membership in the Lega Arcieri Medievali (Lam) is mandatory, upon payment of €. 20.00 per year, which gives the possibility to participate in any archery activity of the association and to use the equipment, as well as insurance coverage.
• 7) The course will take place on odd days of the week, at the headquarters of the Pro Loco of Casaluce in corso Umberto I 219, from 6 to 7 pm. – continues below –

Archery is certainly also useful as a mental training, promoting concentration and meditation – comments the instructor Martino – the mind plays a fundamental and essential role in archery to focus on one’s goal and recreate a state of inner serenity in every situation shooting.
