Badminton reformulates its statutes – Diario Libre

The Dominican Badminton Federation demonstrated total unification by voting “unanimously” for the reformulation of the institution’s statutes and promoting the leaders Jose Luis Espino and Arisleyda Matos, as president and member, respectively.

In an extraordinary assembly of associations held at the Dominican Olympic Committee, after an extensive day of work that began at 10:00 in the morning and ended at 5:00 in the afternoon, the 19 provincial representations with the right to vote and a of the five new ones in formation (La Altagracia), unanimously supported the reformulation of the Fedobad statutes under the scrutiny of Licenciada Ana María Jerez de Torres, lawyer notary public of the National District number, registration No. 3687, who certified and attested to each vote of each modified article and verified the signatures of those present.

For the voting associations, the delegates were, Jose Luis Espino and Johan Sánchez (Samaná), Fernando Tiburcio (Mirabal Sisters), Nelson Javier Ozuna and Wilton Tabarez (Metropolitan), Eduin González (Valverde), Gregorio Figuereo and Santa Juana Suárez (Santo Domingo), Miguel Ángel Feliz Alcántara (Elías Piña), Cesar Sanchez (Ocoa).

Similarly, Rafael Augusto Santín Ortiz (Bahoruco). Keisy Feliz (Barahona), Paola Moreno (St. Juan de la Maguana), Arisleyda Matos (Azua). Jose Efrain Fabian Custodio and Yasmir Empress Carrazco Medina (San Cristóbal), Vincent Alexandro Baez Hidalgo (Espaillat).

Also completing the quorum were Danilo Pereira (Monteplata), Santos and Carlos Rijo Dalmasi and Carlos Rijo Torres (San Pedro de Macorís), Alberto Almanzar (La Romana), Ricardo de la Cruz Vasquez (El Seibo), Margarita Peguero and Yina Castro ( Hato Major), and Eliezert Cordero and Michael Angel Marinez (Maria Trinidad Sanchez).

Also present, as listeners, were Porfirio Guerrero (La Altagracia), William Cabrera (director of Oper(ativo FEedobad), and Generoso Castillo (general secretary of Fedobad.

Although the 1st Vice President (Jose Luis Espino), endorsed in the statutes, presided over the assembly, after the reformulation process, complying with the constitution of the federation, the definitive substitution of the same was carried out, occupying from that moment the presidency of FEDOBAD.

Then, although the FEDOBAD statutes stipulate that the vacant position be chosen from a shortlist proposed by the executive committee to the assembly, the members of this management body gave the assembly the opportunity to choose the shortlist, with the leader Arisleyda being elected. Matos (Azua) over Nelson Javier (Metropolitan).

After the assembly, after congratulating the election of the new members, all those present proceeded to sign the new statute that governs the Dominican Badminton Federation.
