Fifth match again. The journey of the Přerov Zubrs to the finals of the Junior League was not easy at all. The Hanáci had to turn the quarter-final and semi-final series around, but they were always the last to rejoice. The decisive and somewhat heated match between Přerov and Vsetín took place in Zlín and was broken up by a single goal, which was taken care of by Ludvík Lysoněk.

” href=”https://www.hokej.cz/hrac/ludvik-lysonek/10084651″>Ludvík Lysoněk started the season in the jersey of the Liberec White Tigers, in November he moved to the Přerov team. Now he has become one of the key figures in the semi-final series against Vsetín. The Wallachians held the match point after the third game, but the Zubři, just like in the quarter-finals, were able to turn the unfavorable situation around. And Lysoněk took care of the decisive goal in the fourth and fifth games.

In addition, he had many other chances, after all, in just the fifth game he beat the Vsetin defenders twice and aimed alone at the goal, only to be stopped by the goalkeeper

And it must be said that it is precisely in the key parts of the season that Lysoňek succeeds against Vsetín. He helped eliminate the geldings for the second season in a row. Last year, he defended the colors of Poruba, who saved themselves in the second round of the play-down and sent Vsetín to the play-off for salvation.

What are the emotions in the cabin after advancing to the final?
We are happy, but now we need to prepare for Budějovice and perform even better than we did in the quarterfinals and semifinals. We have to play as good or even better hockey than we have played so far.

The first shot into an empty net was called off due to a hand pass, so you actually experienced the euphoria twice…
We were a bit upset that they didn’t recognize us the first time. The second time, however, it failed. We still believed in victory and went after it.

But it could have been decided much earlier. You found yourself in a break twice…
I was quite nervous now. I’ve never played the 5th semi-final game so I tried it for the first time. And my chances… if it fell there, of course it would be nice. However, we still won and that’s the most important thing for me than if I had scored three goals and we would have lost.

How do you look back on the semi-final series?
We won the first match at home, but then we hesitated a bit and did not enter the second match at our best. We made it a little complicated for ourselves, but we continued to believe in ourselves. Then we reached Vsetín and we still believed that we would win, which we did in the end.

How difficult was the series for you after the tough quarterfinals?
The fact that we started the playoffs with two home losses put us down, but only for a while. We quickly shook it off and moved on. I think that it was the most important moment of the entire playoff when we flew to Havlíčkův Brod and won 6:1. From then on everything went like clockwork and I wouldn’t say it was difficult.

“We’ve had a really great semi-final run.”

But you also had to watch the semi-finals…
The most important thing was the belief of all the boys that we could do it. And most importantly, we almost never let up. Yes, there were passages in some games where we didn’t play well and the way we wanted to. But we always knocked ourselves out and went after our goal.

In addition, all matches were decided by one or two goals. What was Vset’s opponent?
Vsetín has an excellent goalkeeper. He held them back a lot, or rather we were wooden. They played together a lot, had a well-mastered and learned system. Mr. Srdínko must have prescribed them well what they should play. It was hard to get to them and it was hard to get through at all. Hats off to me, they played great hockey, it was tough. We’ve had a really great semi-final series.

However, you also conceded only once in the last two matches. Did you change anything?
We didn’t have much, we just hung out more. We went more into each other and

he supported us very well. He has now picked up another clean sheet in the fifth game and I wish him well.

You played the fifth game on the Zlín ice. Did it affect you in any way?
We were a bit upset that we couldn’t play it at home in Přerov. It’s a shame. Who knows knows why that is. On behalf of the entire team, I want to thank all the fans who came to Zlín to support us. But we are happy that we beat Vsetín in Zlín, when now they have a derby in the final of the Chance league. It’s such a paradox, but we’re glad for it. Now we will look forward to the next series against Budějovice.

What will you be entering the final with?
Of course we want to win the whole competition. The boys have been going for it since the beginning of the season. I only joined them sometime in November. They helped me, I helped them, and we’re glad we made it this far. I would like to thank Pavlo Neuman for trusting me and supporting me from the moment I came to Přerov.

What do you expect from Motor?
It certainly won’t be easy. We expect a lot of attacking hockey. We’ll try to prepare for it as best we can and we’ll want to try to play it to the best of our ability. We’re glad we made it this far. But we got here alone and we can win it alone too.

It can be reflected that Budějovice went through both series smoothly 3:0, but you have ten games behind you?
We made it quite complicated. The guys from Motor will definitely have more power, but as I know them, they are big toys. It’s going to be interesting hockey and I’m really looking forward to it. We’re not starting at home for the first time in the series, so that will be a welcome change.

What will the opponent pay?
We will definitely play what we played now. We will stick together and try to block shots more. We have to use our power players, the boot pushes us a lot there. We also have to change the tuts we have in the match, otherwise we can’t play. You can’t win without a goal.
