Alban. The friendly return of interclub judo

Recently, the sports hall was overjoyed to welcome the competition mats which, for three years, had not been removed from their premises.

Just like the cups, medals and awards which, ready to honor the future winners, had folded in on themselves, the confinement having upset friendly meetings and competitions. And the joy of reunion and the desire to do battle between the clubs could be read in all eyes.

Thus a hundred participants came from Puygouzon, the homeland of Professor Pascal Jeanson, but also from Alban of course, from Cantepau, Albi, Marsac, Cambon, Réalmont, Arthès, Lombers, Carmaux, Montredon and Saint-Juéry. “A friendly meeting allows practitioners to progress” explains Pascal. Practitioners who gave continuous work to the pairs installed around the four brand tables. Thus, the performances and points of each competitor in their category could be recorded within the allotted time: minipoussins (from 18 to 21 kg), chicks (less than 23 kg) and minis (less than 38 kg).

All under the objective analysis of referees who are sometimes very young, well invested, appreciating the different imbalance techniques while awarding points in proportion to the technique used. With the line of sight, self-control, courage and respect in all occasions. And everything is good with judo!
