CONMEBOL announced on Wednesday (8) that the 2023 Copa Libertadores final will take place in Brazil. Scheduled for November 11, the single and decisive match will be at Maracanã, a traditional stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
According to the organization of the main competition between clubs in South America, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) presented the candidacy with the justification that the last three finals were disputed by Brazilians.
Divulging the news on Twitter, the president of the South American Football Confederation, Alejandro Domínguez, also said that the final of the Copa Sudamericana will be in Montevideo, Uruguay.
By decision of the CONMEBOL Council, the CONMEBOL final @LibertadoresBR will be held in Rio de Janeiro at the Maracanã stadium and the CONMEBOL final @SudamericanaBR in Montevideo.
Two unique matches that inspire us to Always Believe in this 2023! ⚽️????????

Libertadores 2023 broadcasts
It is worth remembering that the 2023 Copa Libertadores has some news in its broadcasts. After three years, Globo will return to televise the championship games. After a long bidding process, the broadcaster secured the exhibition rights until 2026, after a period on SBT.
The return of games to Globo’s small screens still came with some rules. The main one: the broadcaster will broadcast the match at Maracanã even if Brazilian clubs do not reach the final. It will also have to accept the exposure of Conmebol sponsors during the games.
On closed TV and streaming, the matches will be shown on Disney and Paramount channels. In addition, the One Football app has the package of the best moments of the competition.
