Two young judokas from Alcamo Noemi Di Leonardo, 50 kg category and Giuseppe Renda, same category, will participate in Ostia on April 22 and 23 in the Italian championships, series A-1, of judo. Last Sunday five athletes from Ominia Sporting of Alcamo, chaired by Cristina Cianti in the photo with Giuseppe Renda, took part in the Italian A-2 championships, held at the Pala Mazzola in Taranto. 700 athletes competing from all over Italy. The top three finishers in each category had access to the A-1. Di Leonardo and Renda have achieved the bronze medal and will participate in the competitions of the top judo series. The Alcamo delegation was also made up of Salvatore Quartarao, Marco Cusimano and Ivan Manno. In the gym of Cristina Cianti, multiple champion and several times in the national team, there are 85 people who practice judo with ages ranging from three to 70.
