Something common in Ultimate Team is that dynamic versions have a high price for the possibility of improving their stats. For this reason, when they can no longer receive upgrades, many lower their price considerably (this is what happened in FIFA 23 with Ferran Torres y Grind). But some are also cheap from the start and we can take advantage of them to strengthen our squad spending little. So today I want to do a recommendation: Óscar de Marcos Fantasy FUT.
FIFA 23 – Oscar de Marcos Review Fantasy FUT
I consider it a bargain because it is the typical card that, not as good as the best in its position, it performs only slightly worse. Apart from the fact that it could give a quality leap in the future by receiving upgrades. And he is a very useful LD both in his own field, and when he has to be the protagonist in attack.
De Marcos Fantasy FUT Enjoy an interesting combination: measure 1’82, reach 83 in strength and have Delgado of Body Type. This causes the defensive stats to not be affected, while at the same time being skilled with the ball.
It does not offer the security of the best LD’s in FIFA 23 but, for that position, it’s great to hit 84 interception, 83 intelligence, 84 steals and 86 tackles. Even more so when, after applying Shadow as a chemistry, he reaches 96 acceleration and 98 in sprint. Because of these characteristics, he is able to deliver almost always. Even if the opponent uses very powerful strikers.
While with the ball, it is far from out of place because all the dribbling attributes are above 80. His Slim Body Type makes those numbers stand out on the pitchApart from the fact that he takes advantage of his height and speed to advance meters while protecting possession.
Make smart moves off the ball thanks to 84 in positioning, and his passing stats are also very good for a winger. For a RB to combine 81 Vision, 88 Short Pass, and 80 Long Pass is very positive at this point in FIFA 23.
And although it is something quite secondary for his position, could even add the odd goal. Because he reaches 74 in finishing and 84 in shot power. In certain styles of play, he could surprise with his runs and end up scoring.
To finish, his 92 stamina is adequate for a LD with offensive qualities and I hope he surpasses the three of bad leg but at least it does have four in watermarks. In other Ultimate Team seasons they were even more valuable to a winger, but from time to time he could use them.
That’s how I consider Óscar de Marcos Fantasy FUT the typical bargain that does not reach the outstanding neither in defense nor in attack, but it does more than fulfill in both cases. And it makes a difference compared to other options with similar numbers due to their physical conditions. Because his height and strength make him more secure at the back, while the Slim Body Type allows him to handle the ball better.
So is it worth it?
The level jump compared to other LaLiga Santander options is not impressive, in this competition we find more useful right-backs such as Carvajal Path to Glory, Amavi Winter Wildcards or Lucas Vázquez Centurions. but it seems to me the most complete of transferables (within a reasonable price range, since cards like Marcos Llorente Fantasy FUT are quite expensive).
Furthermore, I consider even more interesting for being a dynamic version but cheap (the risk is low). We do not know how many times it will improve or at what time. Apart from the fact that perhaps, in future events, even more competitive alternatives will arrive. But it’s already affordable and very useful, and if it gets several boosts in a short time, it could be even more valuable.
LaLiga Santander has surprising bargains for the full-backs. On the right is Óscar de Marcos Fantasy FUT and on the left we find Miranda RTTF (which performs even better, it’s a brutal LI at a ridiculous price). And since both are Spanish in this competition, it would not be very difficult to include them in hybrids.
