CAMPI SALENTINA (Lecce) – La JUDO TEAM FIELDS Amateur Sports Association based in Campi Salentina, on 18 and 19 March 2023, will be present at the Palamazzola of Tarantowhere it will take place on Italian Cadet Championship A2. The colors of the aforementioned Association will be represented by the Judoka Leonardo Calabreseathlete of good competitive importance who, thanks to the placement achieved in the National Ranking List, gained with the points that have been attributed to him with the fifth place obtained in the last Italian Beginners Championship B held in Ostia Lido in November 2022 and the good results achieved last year in the national circuit of the Trofeo Italia Esordienti “B” (a silver medal in the Riccione stage and a bronze one in the Lodi stage) he managed, in advance, to detach his access pass to the final of this new Cadets category, without having to carry out the Regional Qualification phase.
A new and difficult challenge in which the young CALABRESE Leonardo will have to face, in his weight category Kg 73, with judoka already veterans of this age group which includes those born between 2008 and 2006 and which will see the participation of about 61 athletes from all the most important Italian associations.

In this important event, which will see the overall participation of almost 600 athletes and which will crown the new Italian Cadet Champions 2023, the young Judoka, as stated by his Technical Teacher Santo PERRONE, who has been following him with dedication for about ten years, will try to bring out the best of his good technical and physical potential gained during constant and demanding training sessions in order to earn a prominent placement in his category and therefore to well represent the Region of belonging and in particular the Salento.
