The EDM Alianza KSV gets 3 medals in the Spanish Sambo Championship in Asturias

Almería has been present at the Spanish Sambo Championship in Asturias. An experience that has been, in addition to enriching, a success for the athletes who have participated representing their land in the combats of this modality of wrestling that is very well received.

Specifically, on March 11 and 12, 600 athletes belonging to the clubs in Spain have gathered and, among them, the Alianza KSV municipal sports school has participated with three athletes to show the talent and future projection that awaits them thanks to to his perseverance and dedication.

The Alianza KSV municipal sports school has attended with Diego Batista, Iván Huete and Ricardo Ortiz, in addition, Francisco González has also traveled as a delegate. All of them were part of the Andalusia team that traveled to Asturias.

Regarding the results, they were quite promising since the athletes of the EDM Alianza KSV returned with two bronze medals for Diego Batista and Iván Huete and Ricardo Ortiz got the silver medal to achieve the runner-up in the highest national event of the wrestling modality.

The Councilor for Sports, Juanjo Segura, has congratulated the results “of the athletes who have participated in the Spanish Sambo Championship, it is a pride to see the potential they are acquiring in the municipal sports schools and they reach the competitions leaving the name of Almería very high”.
