Now the time has come: The tennis legend has become a mother. On Instagram, the 35-year-old shares a new snapshot showing the newborn’s small hands and which she captions the words “Liana”. There is also a heart emoji and the sentence: “Having you with us is the most beautiful and overwhelming feeling we could ever imagine.”

The athlete kept details to herself during her pregnancy. That’s enough of that. By choosing a name, she has now revealed to her more than 670,000 Instagram followers that she has become the mother of a girl. Liana was born three days ago, on February 25, 2023.
In the past few months, Angelique Kerber has not trained as usual, but has remained true to the sport with a morning routine and said: “I feel so much better when I start the day actively.”
