KIRCHHAM. The Judo Union Kirchham can look forward to a hard-fought victory against SU Noricum Leibnitz in the Judo Bundesliga. In a gripping competition, the judoka from Kirchham prevailed 8:6.
Rupert Beiskammer was particularly strong, remaining unbeaten in both fights in the weight class up to 66 kg and collecting valuable points for his team and making important contributions to the success with his victories. The encounters in the higher weight classes were characterized by excitement and fighting spirit. Milan Mihajlovic and Maximilian Hageneder both scored important points for Kirchham with Ippon victories. Christoph Kronberger delivered an impressive performance in his fight in the over 100 kg weight class and also won with ippon.
Overall, it was a strong team performance by the Judo Union Kirchham, who kept the upper hand in a close competition and deservedly left the field as the winner and are currently leaders in the second Bundesliga.
At the same time, the state league team in Feldkirchen fought against Dynamic One in Upper Austria and won comfortably with a 18:2 victory.
