Sérgio Ramos bids farewell to former Real Madrid teammate after retirement announcement

The former captain of Real Madrid posted on his social networks a farewell to his former club mate Mesut Ozil. O German surprised this Wednesday morning by announcing retirement at the age of 34.

The defender and the former midfielder played together for three seasons, between 2010 and 2013. Ramos thanked him and left a “see you soon” for the now former player:

Curiosity: One of the photos used by Sérgio Ramos has a specific context. In 2012, in a match against Deportivo La Coruña, for La Liga, the German Ozil and the coach at the time, Mourinho, argued during the first half and at halftime. On the way back to the second stage, Ozil was replaced. Sérgio Ramos would have defended the player and returned with Ozil’s number 10 shirt underneath.
