Carlos Bilardo He will turn 85 on Thursday. In the last hours, the coach world champion in Mexico 1986 was visited by several of the players from that historic team that won the second star for the Argentine national team.

This is a very special visit. In 2018, Bilardo was diagnosed with Hakim Adams Syndrome, a neurodegenerative disease which causes memory and stability disorders. The symptoms are delusions, memory loss and difficulty moving, especially because of how it affects the legs.
Bilardo followed the Qatar 2022 World Cup on TV
Despite his illness, Bilardo does not lose his passion and follows every match played by the Albiceleste. The DT world champion in 1986 watched the conquest of Qatar 2022 on TV. From a distance, he was able to enjoy the matches of the Selection and he was happy with what was achieved by the team led by Scaloni.
Bilardo watched the final of the Qatar 2022 World Cup from the armchair of his house and was recorded with a tender photo that the account shared @BilardoEterno. In the picture you can see it Lionel Messi kissing the trophy that he sought so much.

In the middle of the World Cup in Qatar, his former field assistant Miguel Ángel Lemme had told that “Bilardo watches the World Cup and is happy with the performance of the National Team”. Now, with his success accomplished, he also celebrates the championship.
