Wout Van Aert and Primoz Roglic start their season on Monday March 6 in Italy on Tirreno-Adriatico, where many of them want to shine during the seven stages with varied profiles, in the absence of the winner of the last two editions, Tadej Pogacar. Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard, first and second last year of the Tirreno-Adriatico continue their mano a mano on Paris / Nice this year. The poster for the Italian race – 58th edition – linking the Tyrrhenian Sea to the Adriatic remains no less attractive, and undoubtedly more open. The other animators expected for the Italian week are the Australian winner of the Giro Jai Hindley (Bohra-Hansgrohe), the Spaniard Mikel Landa (Bahrain) or the Briton Tom Pidcock (Ineos), impressive winner of the Strade Bianche on Saturday. Julian Alaphilippe (Soudal-Quick Step) will try to confirm the return of good feelings after his difficult year 2022 at the head of a large French contingent also including Thibaut Pinot (Groupama-FDJ).
