The Spanish player was left out of the final after losing to the Dane Viktor Ording Kauffmann in a tight three-set duel (21-13, 19-21, 21-13)
Spanish badminton player Pablo Abián fell in the semifinals of the International Championship of Portugal that is held in Caldas da Rainha against the Danish Viktor Ording Kauffmann in a tight duel that had to be decided on the best of three sleeves.
Kauffmann took the lead in the first set by winning 21-13, but Abián managed to equalize the clash by winning the second 21-19.
Finally, in the third and final, the Nordic was superior and signed a 21-13 which will allow him to play the match for the title against the British Johnnie Torjussen, executioner of the French Enogat Roy (21-14 and 21-15).
