Still deprived of Mike James, AS Monaco did not go into detail against Élan Béarnais (78-98) at Trélazé in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France. Sasa Obradovic’s men relied on a Blossomgame – Diallo duo in good shape to easily dispose of their evening opponents and reach the semi-finals.

AS Monaco did not shake this Saturday in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France. The players of the Rock took out the Élan Béarnais (98-79), defending champions, and joined Strasbourg and Le Mans in the last four while waiting for the last meeting of the evening between ASVEL and Cholet.

Like Strasbourg against Bourg and Le Mans against Dijon, the game was quickly devoid of any suspense. If the Palois resisted during the first 15 minutes of the game, they were then overwhelmed by a Roca Team in steamroller mode. CJ Williams (11 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists) tried to restore the drive to the Bearnais, helped by Darel Poirier (8 points and 3 rebounds) but nothing helped. Often limited to reduced playing time in the EuroLeague, Jaron Blossomgame (20 points and 3 assists) shone and twice found the target behind the arc just before the break. The Monegasques were already leading by 10 units (37-47, 20′).
