Whether it’s with the coaches or with the teammates. I know the sweet stuff comes. I know that It’s coming. I’m a very optimistic guy, don’t get me wrong. Change is good, like I’ve always said, but it’s hard for me to see it right now. But I know it’s coming and I’m excited it’s coming.”

Growing up as men with this organization, I really can’t imagine taking the field without him. It is something that I do not know if I have fully registered. Obviously, I’ve talked to him. I’m hurt. I’m sure he is. But the most important thing for me, just being able to support him. I know he will have more opportunities on the way. I love that guy, proud of him, the #1 fan of his and here for him no matter what.”

Whether it happens when we want it to happen, whether it happens in the place or with the organization we want it to, or not, that’s the reality. As you get older and you see it happen more and more with guys The ones you’re close with, this becomes the reality of getting old, I guess. It’s unfortunate. It sucks. But, it’s part of it, and I hate to see those guys go and us not win. That’s what will eat me up. forever”.

Prescott. “I mean, having all those guys, a lot of close friends leaving, good teammates, not winning a championship and the urgency was there then, but now that that’s happened, realizing it, hey, you can blink and you can finish my career…it’s now or never. It’s simple as that. There’s no sugarcoating it.”
