AC Milan did not field any players from Italy as a starter in their 1-1 draw with Salernitana. This happened for the first time in Serie A history.
Milan was held 1-1 by Salernitana at the San Siro in the Italian League continued match, Tuesday (13/3/2023). The hosts took the lead through Olivier Giroud. However, Boulaye Dia’s goal then forced a draw.
In this match, Milan did not field any players from Italy as starters. Rossoneri coach, Stefano Pioli, fielded completely foreign players in the starting 11 line-up.
