Milan sinks in Udine, 3-1 for the bianconeri

Three defensive sleeps cost Milan dearly, which sinks in Udine and comes out defeated 3-1. Pereyra, Beto and Ehizibue are the protagonists of an evening that also sees Ibrahimovic score again, albeit to no avail for him. The hosts got off to a better start and took the lead in the 10th minute.

First half

Bennacer misses a pass, Samardzic intercepts and serves Pereyra in the area who kicks slowly into the corner with his right foot surprising Maignan, who stays put and suffers the 1-0. Three minutes later, Ibrahimovic tries to respond from a free kick but shoots high from 25 meters. In the 36th minute Silvestri performs a miracle on Diaz, but the action is marred by an initial handball by the Spaniard. Four minutes later, Leao tries with a poisonous shot to return from the left but Silvestri dives in and scores for a corner. Pioli’s men push and in the 44th minute they get a penalty for a hand ball in the area by Bijol, sanctioned after a quick consultation with the Var. Ibrahimovic makes a mistake, but the referee counters because an opposing player entered the area and then swept the ball after Silvestri’s save. The Swede returns to the penalty spot and signs the 1-1, becoming the oldest player to score in the history of Serie A, surpassing Costacurta’s previous record.

The recovery

The match seems to be heading for a draw before the break, but the bianconeri find an unexpected 2-1 at the last gasp. Isaac crosses low to the ground from the left finding Beto, who anticipates Thiaw sharply and slips Maignan with a touch of robbery from a few steps away. It is the goal that sends the two teams into the locker room. 10′ into the second half, Ballo-Touré headed a loose ball in the area with Silvestri coming out but his attempt was shy and the ball went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute the 3-1 came out which closed the match. The referee doesn’t sanction a sprint from Success on Thiaw, with the Nigerian serving backwards Udogie who misses the shot with his left foot but involuntarily serves Ehizibue perfectly at the far post, who surprises everyone and scores into an empty net. The rest of the challenge is pure academia and the result will never change. Udinese thus celebrates the three points catapulting them into seventh position at an altitude of 38 on a par with Juventus. For Milan instead comes a heavy knockout that leaves them in fourth place just a point ahead of Roma, engaged tomorrow in the derby of the Capital.

Salernitana-Bologna

Salernitana and Bologna share the stakes (2-2) at the end of a match full of emotions. The grenades extended their streak of consecutive useful results to four (one win and three draws), the rossoblù team collected the second draw in a row. Sousa confirms the San Siro team as a whole, which impacts the match well, giving the impression of being able to unlock the result immediately.

First half

Advantage that comes after seven turns of the hands: short corner taken by Kastanos for Candreva who bowls in the center of the area for Pirola, able to soar higher than all and deposit the ball behind Skorupski, finding his first joy in the Serie A championship. The goal gives confidence to the Campania players who build the opportunity to double in the 11th minute: Dia invents for Mazzocchi, the winger enters the area but face to face with the goalkeeper tries a lob that is blocked without problems. Sixty seconds go by and all’Arechi the ‘wrong goal, conceded goal’ rule materializes: Kyriakopoulos crosses from the left, Ferguson manages to anticipate Pirola and heads the ball past Ochoa. At 1-1, Bologna took control of the game and had the best chances to overturn. The clearest one occurs in the 22nd minute on Moro’s feet who, all alone in front of the goalkeeper, lets himself be anticipated by Gyomber at the time of the serve. At the end of time, the rossoblu recriminated for a contact in the area between Bradaric and Ferguson but first the referee and then the Var room let it go. We go to rest on the result of 1-1.

Second half

In the second half, the balance held up for more than a quarter of an hour. Sousa reorganizes Salernitana by inserting Vilhena and Piatek and the Campania players, after coming close to scoring, pass again in the 19th minute: following the development of a corner kick, the ball reaches Dia who, served by Daniliuc, controls and beats Skorupski also thanks to a detour. At 2-1 it is Bologna who try everything: Motta inserts Orsolini and Arnautovic. And the rossoblu immediately equalized the accounts, still on the developments of a corner: Lykogiannis (28′) takes the time from Coulibaly and finds the 2-2 with his header, dropping the credits on the Arechi match

Monza Cremonese

The goals of the oldest on the pitch and of the one with the most market: the Lombard derby between Monza and Cremonese is decided by the 38-year-old Daniel Ciofani, always decisive in the entries in the race, and Carlos Augusto. The Brazilian, in his fifth hit of the season, demonstrates once again why his big names have set their sights on him.

Little consolations

The joys of the singles, however, are meager consolation for the two teams: glass half empty for the Brianzas, who drink too many opportunities and don’t capitalize on a rival with 21 points less, almost useless single point for guests. Everything happens before the eyes of Adriano Galliani and Ariedo Braida, strategic consultant of the Grigiorossi and approached right to the Brianza for next season.

First half

In the first half the chances are all from Monza: Petagna first with a header and then with the winger for Izzo neutralized by Carnesecchi. Again Izzo, top right, in the 19th minute gets up in the middle for Carlos Augusto’s diving header on which Carnesecchi flies into the bottom corner to say no. Petagna tries again with the left foot that lands on Vasquez’s back. Monza is “eclectic”, copyrighted by Palladino: Sensi and Pessina shuttle back and forth in trocars with alternating movements close to the striker, reversal of positions in the middle and upward movements also of the defense arms and fifths. La Cremonese, on the pitch with the celebratory shirt without logos, sponsors and names on the shoulders for its 120th anniversaryi, in the middle of the first half he changed and lined up with a 5-3-2. He move that works and you have to wait for the last regulation to see another feat by Carnesecchi on Ciurria, caught by Petagna, who then fails on the rebound. A lot of pace and a lot of Monza, but no goals: this is Monza’s flaw, which also makes up for the yellow cards from Pessina and Izzo, disqualified for the home match against Lazio.

The recovery

Ballardini plays Ciofani and Castagnetti on the substitution and in the first 10′ his men repay him with four shots towards Di Gregorio. Two thirds into the match, Machin loses the ball outside the area, Galdames unleashes the two new grafts, with Castagnetti good at swerving for Ciofani who makes it 0-1. Monza takes it back in the 24th minute: movement from one winger to another, Ciurra takes the back and cuts the area finding Carlos Augusto’s left foot for the equalizer. 10′ from the end, Monza could overtake: blow from Frog, Carnesecchi rejects short and Gytkjaer misses the tap-in by half a metre. Colpani also tries at the end, with a header that deflects Mota’s assist too high from close range.
