This Friday, Kylian Mbappé (24 years old, 33 games and 31 goals in all competitions this season) made the front page of the Spanish daily AS. The newspaper explains that the Paris Saint-Germain striker announced to Real Madrid his wish to come in 2024. Good news for Casa Blanca since the Madrid leaders had plans to recruit the free French international this same year, and not before.
As a reminder, the Habs extended with PSG last May until 2024 with an option of an additional year. The latter is however subject to the will of the player. Which means that the former Monegasque could decide to leave on his own without exercising the option. He would then be free to sign with the club of his choice in 2024.
If this scenario seems possible, the episode of its extension has already shown that the Mbappé file could hold many surprises.
