LNB presents its new product: The Super League

SANTO DOMINGO.- With the presence of businessmen and government entities, the National Basketball League (LNB) presented this Tuesday the new product with which its first division tournament will be known: The Super League.

Antonio Mir, president of the LNB, made the presentation at the Hotel El Embajador, also sharing progress of the league in recent years, especially the past two where the brand was relaunched and the positioning “La Liga que Rompe” was created. as well as metrics from their digital platforms.

The Super League, according to Mir, will now be the name of the main basketball competition in the Dominican Republic. Therefore, the LNB it does not disappear, but the Super League will be a brand under its umbrella.

“This new concept that we are presenting is to unify all the rebranding and positioning efforts carried out in the last two years, consolidating and differentiating our event from any other basketball competition in our country,” said Mir.

The head of the LNB was accompanied by the main executives of the eight franchises that make up the league. Among the government entities, executives from Banreservas, the main sponsor of the event, were present.

Rafael Uribe, president of the Dominican Basketball Federation and other important national sports figures, as well as sports editors from the country’s main media, also attended.

Later, the LNB will offer more details to the public and the press in general about what will be The Super League, which will begin next May.
