Lierse still have a water chance of promotion to the Jupiler Pro League. The youngsters from Anderlecht only folded after the break and remain last in the championship group.
Lierse just managed to qualify for the championship group, but after a start with 2 defeats, the Pallieters don’t seem to have much glory left.
Lierse were keen to eliminate the nil against RSCA Futures, but it took until the second half before they succeeded. A few touches after the kick-off, assist king Guillaume De Schryver had already passed the ball past Anderlecht goalkeeper Rik Vercauteren (no relation to Frank).
25 minutes later, the visitors could pay at the box office, because with his 10th assist of the season, De Schryver offered the fully detached Thibaut Van Acker the 2-0.
