Kevin De Bruyne swallows what Erling Haaland’s new contract will bring to City

At the end of last year, Kevin De Bruyne said that he does not think he is making an excessive amount of money at Manchester City.

According to The Guardian, Kevin De Bruyne earns around 450,000 euros a week, an amount that our compatriot does not consider high. This season he got a new teammate with Erling Haaland at City.

The accurate striker is doing very well, so that the English club is immediately thinking about a new contract with better conditions. And it should be clear that it may cost Manchester City something to keep the Norwegian on board.

According to The Sun, Manchester City wants to offer a contract extension until mid-2028. Haaland would then only earn 565,000 euros a week to sign that new contract. With that amount, he becomes the highest paid player in the Premier League.

Now that honor belongs to Kevin De Bruyne, but earlier it was Cristiano Ronaldo who was the highest paid player in the English league. Now Haaland earned just a little less than De Bruyne.
