He Judo Hercules of A Coruña has achieved great success in Galician School Championship held this weekend in A Estrada (Pontevedra). The people of A Coruña have taken over 12 medals in the tournament and has become the best club in the community.
The booty has been five gold medals, four silver, three bronze, one fifth and two seventh places. The training and work of Judo Hercules has paid off with a memorable performance in the tournament.
One of the great moments was the final played by the judokas of the Coruña club Luca Janiszewski and Martin A. Barbeito in the cadet category. All club members have been very excited and proud of this achievement, especially the coaches Paula Yañez and Alberto Rodriguez.
The coach and sports director of the club, Edu Carballeirahighlights the dedication, effort and teamwork of each one of them, and thanks their families for the unconditional support they have given them
during the season.
These excellent results will mean that most of the club’s judokas will be called up by the Galician team to compete in the Spanish Championship, which will take place at the end of April. Next we leave you a list with the club’s medalists:
