The Judo Austria office in Vienna (Wehlistraße 29/1/111, 1200 Vienna) welcomes an “old acquaintance” as a new, full-time employee. Alois, better known in ÖJV circles as “Luis”, Greunz will take on logistical and organizational tasks in connection with national events such as the Austrian Championships, Dan exams and the Judo Bundesliga. “We are happy about the newcomer. Alois complements our team perfectly, comes from the judo sport and is very familiar with the subject,” emphasizes ÖJV General Secretary Corina Korner.
The 50-year-old from Innsbruck moves the center of his life from the west to Tulln or Vienna. Luis holds the 3rd Dan and, as a deputy examination officer, is a member of the Austrian Dan College (ÖDK). For many years he worked as a trainer at the Judo Center in Innsbruck.
